The 4th Istanbul Initiative Summit was held on February 1-2, 2023. The event brought together 55 representatives from 35 international non-governmental organizations across 33 countries, reflecting a global commitment to addressing pressing drug policy issues.
The 3rd Istanbul Initiative Summit was held on 12-13 October 2021. The summit welcomed 45 representatives from 35 international non-governmental organisations across 25 countries.
The 2nd Istanbul Initiative Summit was held on 25 June 2020 online. The summit welcomed 28 representatives from international non-governmental organisations across 21 countries.
The first Istanbul Initiative Summit took place on 10-11 June 2019. It was sponsored by the Green Crescent and co-sponsored by the Drug Policy Futures (DPF) as platform, which develops global strategies and lobbies for the prevention and recovery of Drug, Alcohol, Tobacco, Gambling and Technology addictions for the future generations and the benefit of humanity.
